This Giving Tuesday, you get to help name a future service-dog-in-training!

Your creativity, generosity, and votes will help choose the perfect name for one very special puppy starting their journey next year.

How It Works: Give. Name. Vote.

1. GIVE

Donate $100 or more to enter the contest and support families waiting for a professionally trained Good Dog!
Your donation will be doubled dollar-for-dollar through a generous $5,000 Giving Tuesday match.

2. NAME

During the donation process, enter your puppy name idea in the notation box.
All names must be submitted no later than December 7 (EOD).
Please note: Names must be unique within the Good Dog! program. If a name doesn’t meet the criteria, we’ll reach out so you can choose another.

3. VOTE

On December 8, we’ll share all eligible name submissions on Instagram and Facebook.
Vote for your favorites throughout the week, and help choose the winning name!
The winning name will be announced on December 12!
The puppy will make their social media debut when they officially join the program in early 2026.

Good Dog! began in 2011 when two parents experienced firsthand the power of a service dog for their autistic son. Today, Good Dog! Service Canines provides professionally trained service dogs to children and families with disabilities across the country.
