Electric Turquoise, a 501(c)(3) Native American performing arts non-profit dedicated to inspiring and empowering Native American communities. Our mission focuses on Indigenous performing arts, language preservation, and cultural wellness—turning trauma and limited resources into creative power.

We believe the arts are medicine. We believe creativity heals trauma. And we believe that Native people — the original storytellers, dancers, designers, and performers of this land — deserve a world-class stage to stand on.

MISSION STATEMENT

Electric Turquoise is committed to inspiring and supporting Native American communities through diverse artistic and wellness initiatives. We are a dynamic and holistic approach to personal empowerment, integrating Native American Performing Arts, Language Perseverance, and Cultural Arts.

Targeted toward dreamers, warriors, and healers, this initiative emphasizes reclaiming personal power both internally and externally. We aspire that the arts can transform trauma and limited resources into creative energy, using the arts as a powerful vehicle for empowerment. We strive to uplift and empower these communities by nurturing creativity, self-expression, and holistic well-being.

VISION STATEMENT

At Electric Turquoise, we see far beyond where we stand today. We are building something that has never existed before — and we will not stop until it does.

We envision Electric Turquoise growing into a world-class professional touring dance company, bringing our original theatrical productions to stages across Turtle Island and beyond. Our shows will hold residencies at Native American owned casinos and resorts nationwide, creating a permanent, prestigious home for Indigenous performing arts at the highest level of entertainment.

We see a thriving talent pipeline — a living, breathing ecosystem that discovers, trains, and employs Native American artists across every discipline of production: dancers, actors, choreographers, hair and makeup artists, costume and fashion designers, stage managers, directors, and producers. Every production we mount will be a job. Every stage we fill will be a career launched.

Ultimately, we envision Electric Turquoise becoming an international revolution — a one-of-a-kind performing arts institute recognized across the globe as the premier destination for Indigenous artistic excellence, anchored by the first-ever Native American Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Electric Ladies are more than performers — they are leaders, models, and proud ambassadors of Indian Country. Each Electric Lady is selected not only for her extraordinary talent and artistry, but for the strength of her character, the depth of her cultural pride, and her commitment to being a role model for the next generation of Native women and girls.

As ambassadors of Indian Country, The Electric Ladies carry our culture, our stories, and our sovereignty wherever they go — representing their communities at performances, public events, cultural gatherings, and media appearances. To wear the turquoise and gold is not simply to dance — it is to represent an entire nation of people with dignity, power, and pride.

Message From The Founder

As the Founder and Artistic Director, I personally invested over $90,000 of my own earnings from my modeling, acting, and dance career to build this organization from the ground up before seeking outside support. This foundational work successfully established our first stages, our first cohort of dancers, and proof of our concept.

For 2026, our goal is to raise $100,000 to tour our signature keynote and workshop series, "The Electric Effect," across seven states. This program provides dance, modeling, and wellness training to Native youth and women. Additionally, our initiatives include our annual fundraiser gala, "Dances with Ancestors," which benefits the Electric Effect Scholarship Fund, and our original Native dance residency, "A Rez Love Story."
