Many of the families we serve are facing increasing hardship. Because of your donations, families who might have gone without this holiday season will now be able to gather together without worry. Each donation provided is a reassurance. It tells a mother who’s struggling to stretch her budget that she’s not alone. It tells a child that their community cares about them.

South Central LAMP was founded after the 1992 civil unrest to be a place of stability, learning, and hope for women and children in South LA. More than 30 years later, that mission remains as vital as ever. Today, our Family Literacy Program, early childhood education, and weekly food distributions continue to be lifelines for families who are navigating uncertainty with courage and resilience.

Your kindness this holiday season restores dignity, comfort, and connection. We are so grateful to LMU and everyone who took part in this effort for being partners in compassion and justice.
