Recorded in July 2024 at the legendary “CBS Television City Studios”, this is a cinematic live capture of an unforgettable staged reading of a new work written by larryjean powell (fka Larry Powell). Set in Los Angeles, the piece follows a fictional pioneer of Black gay nightlife as he confronts a crossroads: continue mentoring the next generation, or finally pursue his own long-suppressed desires. Originally commissioned by IAMA Theatre Company through the Rhimes Unsung Voices Playwriting Commission. Rated TV-MA. Recommended for mature audiences 16+. Runtime: 1h 54m
