The Westfield Waves Swim Team has struggled with our outdated starting blocks for many years. Every season, dedicated staff and volunteers have tried to extend the blocks' usability in the hopes of delaying the steep costs of purchasing new blocks. Sadly, these blocks have now surpassed their expected lifespan.

Westfield Waves needs to replace the blocks before the start of the season, as they are now a safety hazard and unsafe for swimmers to use. Additionally, Westfield is hosting this summer's City Meet, and we need to use all six lanes to ensure it runs smoothly.

The cost of each block is approximately $2,400, excluding installation. They are estimated to last 25+ years.

We understand this is a big ask from families, which is why we are fundraising now. Please donate if you can and share with family and friends to help us achieve our goal. Each generous donation will help Westfield Waves purchase six brand-new starting blocks and help our swimmers have the best season yet!
