Every day I see young people whose adults have left them behind. Abuse in foster care or other systems, coming out and being rejected by parents, family economic and emotional strains, mental health crisis with lack of healthcare -- any of it can put youth on the street. Once there, the daily dangers of human trafficking, sexual assault or simply the trauma of feeling completed discarded and neglected create huge hurdles to getting off the street. BUT YOUTH DO MOVE ON -- AND YOU CAN HELP!

I do this work because we cannot afford to waste the brilliant energy of these young people!  Youth in homelessness have extraordinary grit, courage, and determination -- real Sisu. All we have to do is create the right conditions for them to change their trajectory.
