Our community is being threatened by the construction of a data center in Lawrenceburg, TN with the potential for more to be developed. Data centers cause negative impacts on the environment, local wildlife/farm animals, health issues for residents, and use valuable local resources like water and electricity.

As residents of Lawrence County we are organizing and fighting back against a project like this in our community. Help us stand together and say a resounding NO to local leaders who have quietly approved this project without doing any proper research for how it will impact our community.

We have launched a second online petition calling for an 18 month Moratorium for Data Center Construction in Lawrence County and will be presenting it personally to local leaders at an upcoming project site plan vote at the City Zoning and Planning Commission Meeting on July 9th. We will also be sharing this at Lawrenceburg City Council Meetings and Lawrence County Commissioners Meetings.

This fundraiser is to help us raise funds to better spread awareness about the moratorium petition. Funds will be used for marketing purposes like billboards across Lawrence County, online paid advertising, and ads on local news networks. We will also be using funds to cover any needed legal fees for hiring a lawyer to draft legal documents against the City of Lawrenceburg for their involvement in this project and their ongoing violation of the Tennessee Sunshine Law.

Unlike our elected officials, we will be sharing FULL transparency around money raised and posting all receipts in our Coalition Facebook Group.
