Battle Scar was forged in the heart of the 2020 pandemic and was built by those who run toward the fire. Founded by veterans and first responders, we believe that even in the wake of disaster, there is an opportunity for rebirth. Our roots are in service, and our mission is simple: to ensure that when our community falls, we are there to help them rebuild stronger than before.

We started with a simple "boots on the ground" philosophy: when people are hurting, you get dirty, you get to work, and you don’t stop until the job is done.

Our Track Record of Impact: Over the last six years, we have evolved into a rapid-response lifeline for those facing life’s hardest battles. Our mission has touched hundreds of lives across Hawaii and California, including:

Veterans in Transition: We have helped over 100 veterans secure the resources, housing, and mental health support they need to thrive after service.
The Tony Robbins Partnership: We proudly partnered with Tony Robbins to assist over 100 veterans in accessing life-altering treatment and peak-performance coaching.
Recovery & Resilience: We provide direct support for those recovering from addiction and work closely with Oʻahu’s disabled veterans and the adaptive surfing community to prove that no obstacle is insurmountable.

The Pivot: North Shore Flood Relief Today, the mission has shifted to our own backyard. The devastating March 2026 floods have left our neighbors in Haleiwa and Waialua underwater. True to our roots, Battlestar Initiative is deploying immediately.

Right now, our neighbors are facing a dual crisis: homes filled with mud and a critical lack of potable water. With the current Boil Water Advisory in effect across the North Shore, every clean drop counts. Your tax-deductible donation directly funds the specialized gear and life-saving supplies our teams are bringing into the field.

$7: Provides a case of clean drinking water for a family under the boil-water mandate.
$25: Supplies hot meals for a crew of volunteers mucking out homes.
$100: Buys a "Recovery Kit" (heavy-duty shovels, contractor bags, N95 masks, and crowbars).
