Wayne Nystrom, lovingly referred to as ‘Pancho’ for decades by both students and colleagues, was a highly respected Math teacher at Camden Catholic for 45 years, serving many of those years as the Math Department chair. From 1969 to 2015, Mr. Nystrom taught with energy, discipline and extreme care for the success of his students.

He was a constant supporter of students, regularly found cheering them on in the stands or outside of the classroom and rooting for them in all of their endeavors.

He offered mentorship to new teachers, was a leader to the entire faculty, and a true representative of Honor, Faith and Loyalty. Without a doubt, Wayne Nystrom was one of the brightest mathemeticians to ever hold a position on Camden Catholic’s Faculty.
