🎄 Christmas of Hope 2025

Because Christmas is for everyone — especially those who are often forgotten.

This year, Agapay Foundation invites you to be part of a mission that brings joy, dignity, and hope to 348 individuals in Sogod, Southern Leyte:

200 children

Purok Maligaya (formerly Sinalikway), Brgy. Zone V
Many of these children come from vulnerable households with limited access to consistent nourishment, healthcare, and educational support. Recently, these children and their families were heavily affected by Typhoon Kalmaegi (Typhoon Tino)—a powerful and destructive tropical cyclone that devastated parts of the central Philippines, including Southern Leyte.

Purok Maligaya, being located near the Subang Dako River, suffered extensive damage as floodwaters surged to roof level. Entire homes, along with the families’ belongings, were washed away, leaving many displaced and in urgent need of assistance.

This Christmas, we want them to experience a day filled with joy, care, and celebration.

148 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs)

BJMP Sogod District Jail

BJMP Sogod District Jail is a pioneering facility that partners with the Alternative Learning System (ALS) to provide educational opportunities for PDLs from Elementary to Senior High School. Agapay Samaritans, sponsored by Agapay Foundation, supports this initiative by providing After-School reading and writing tutorials to PDLs who need literacy support.

The PDL community often spends the holidays isolated from their families. We want to remind them that they are not forgotten, and that hope, transformation, and connection are still possible.

Your kindness will allow us to celebrate two major Christmas outreach events:

1. Christmas Festival for 200 Children

These children come from vulnerable communities with limited access to proper nutrition, basic healthcare, and regular opportunities for joyful experiences. This Christmas, we want them to feel cared for and celebrated.

2. Christmas Party for 148 PDLs

📍 BJMP Sogod District Jail

Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) often spend the holidays far from their families. Our goal is to remind them that they are seen, valued, and capable of transformation.

✨ Activities for the PDLs

🎶 Program of singing, dancing & presentations
🧴 Health Kit Distribution
- Shampoo
- Toothpaste
- Bath soap
- Laundry powder
- Milo drink
🍔 Snacks (burger + drinks)
- If more funds come in → upgraded to a full lunch for all PDLs.

Your contribution brings encouragement, dignity, and compassion to community members who seldom receive it.

3. Why This Campaign Matters ❤️

Christmas is a season of giving — but for many, it is a reminder of what they lack. With your help, we can turn loneliness into belonging, hunger into nourishment, and hopelessness into hope.

Together, we can brighten Christmas for 348 people in Sogod.

- Covers a hygiene kit for one PDL.
₱500 — Medical Support
- Helps fund children’s medical check-ups.
₱1,000 — Group of Children
- Feeds 4–5 children during the festival.
₱2,000 — PDL Wellness Support
- Provides health kits for 6–7 PDLs.
₱5,000 — Children’s Activities Sponsor
- Funds prizes, materials, and games for the festival.
₱10,000 — Meal Sponsor
- Feeds 20 children or 10 PDLs.
₱25,000 — Major Program Sponsor
- Significantly supports one outreach event.
