For three decades, Out Loud Chorus (OLC) has been building queer community through music in Washtenaw and Wayne Counties. We’ve grown into one of the largest mixed-voice LGBTQ+ choirs in North America, with more than 160 members and audiences that continue to grow each year. From powerful concerts to Pride performances, from bringing trans and non-binary singers into new vocal ranges to offering accessible ticketing for seniors and students—OLC has always been a place where every voice belongs

Now, as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary Season, we’re asking for your help to keep this legacy strong for the next 30 years.

🌟 Our Goal: $30,000 $50,000 for 30 Years

We’ve launching our 30 for 30 campaign with a goal of raising ~~$30,000~~ $50,000. Thanks to a generous match, every individual donation will be doubled up to ~~$15,000~~ $20,000—that means your gift goes twice as far! While we've hit our original $30,000 goal from over 120 generous donors across all of our fundraising platforms, we're increasing our goal so our impact extends from celebrating 30 years of OLC to looking forward to 50 years of OLC.

💡 Why Now?

Growth & Inclusion: Our membership has tripled since 2021, and our audiences are up 30% year-over-year. The need for affirming LGBTQ+ community spaces has never been greater.
Accessibility: From livestreamed concerts to discounted tickets, we make sure queer joy through music is available to everyone, regardless of age, income, or ability.
Impact: In 2025 alone, our concerts reached 2,200 people, and we performed across Washtenaw County at Pride events, libraries, and community centers
