Dear Potential Donor,

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated^®, Omega Psi Omega Chapter was chartered on December 16, 2017. We proudly serve the communities of Elizabeth, Linden, Rahway, and Roselle, New Jersey.

Since our inception almost seven years ago, we have provided community service and scholarships to families and youth in the aforementioned cities. We have participated and hosted the following community service projects: provided food to approximately 30 children of School #4 in Linden to address weekend food insecurity; hosted 10 youth leaders during a six-month, youth-led leadership program; furnished a therapeutic room at the Covenant House transitional housing for young mothers in Elizabeth; provided Thanksgiving dinners for families in Elizabeth; and participated in the American Cancer Society-Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, raising $8,000 over our years of involvement. These are just a few of our service projects. Regarding our scholarships, we have donated more than $15,000 to college-bound youth in the last three years. In addition, we have won awards and been acknowledged by the Union County Board of Commissioners for community service.

For our Month of Giving fundraising campaign, please consider making a donation towards our $2,500 goal. This campaign will run from October 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025. 100% of your donations will be used towards our efforts to make an impactful difference in the communities that we service via service projects and scholarships.
