We all know ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed).37,157 local households can't afford basic needs. An average of 47% our community are ALICE, neighbors who work hard - sometimes at more than one job - but still can't pay all their bills and put good food on their tables every day.  At the Society of St. Andrew Delmarva, we are working hard to End Hunger in communities all across the Shore. We work to distribute healthy food from farms and markets to local feeding agencies, like food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers and more. Last year, we were able to share 10 million servings of healthy food with our hungry neighbors. We were supported by 62 generous local farms and we partnered with 114 different community-based feeding agencies.  We were joined in this effort by 1,500 local volunteers. We are ALICE.
