Revolutionary Artists' Story

I'm fundraising for the Oasis because I dream about a community rooted in love every single day. Somewhere we can plant our roots at and live in peace. Somewhere children feel safe to play outside and be curious, adventurous children. A space we are able to reconnect to our ancestral wisdom through nurturing our relationship with Mama Earth and remembering how to grow our own food. A haven to develop and grow our businesses while supporting other Black & Brown businesses simultaneously. I think about this and so much more when I visualize a community rooted in love and the Oasis makes these dreams feel like the are our future actualized. I believe this movement will bring so much healing to this city, my loved ones, and my Self and I'm more than willing to do what it takes to make this our reality. I believe in this community and I believe in our desire for change and I KNOW we are more than capable of creating a true OASIS. Help us do it!!!!
