Help Us Complete the Library — One Shelf at a Time

North Wales Area Library is raising funds to complete our library-wide shelving upgrade and reclaim approximately 400 square feet of space to expand our Children’s Area.

Our goal is to raise $150,000 to purchase and install the remaining new shelving units needed to complete the project. A gift of $15,000 sponsors one new shelving unit, and the new shelves will be added once the full $150,000 fundraising goal has been reached.

By completing this shelving upgrade, we will be able to create a more flexible and engaging Children’s Programming Area with room for:

Storytimes
Crafts and activities
Activity tables and chairs
Interactive learning
A wall-mounted large screen
Expanded family and children’s programs

Donors may also support the campaign by dedicating existing shelving already in place in the Children’s Area or Teen Area. These gifts will also go toward the overall fundraising goal for the new shelves:

$5,000 — Dedicate a low shelf
$10,000 — Dedicate a high shelf
$15,000 — Sponsor one new shelving unit

Each sponsored or dedicated shelf may honor a loved one, family member, business, club, organization, or community group and will be recognized with a commemorative dedication plate.

When the project is complete, all donors will be invited to a special Shelves, Stories & Sips event to celebrate and commemorate the generous contributions of our community.

Together, we can complete our library, expand opportunities for children, and create a lasting legacy for generations of readers.
