A Jewish home is not a thing we have but a thing we do, a set of actions that we take each year. Each year, at Rosh Hashanah we stand up to be counted. Each year, we renew our commitment to ourselves and to the Jewish People. Each year, we have the honor of sustaining the Jewish home that was built for us by the generations who came before us.

Connection and community are created by the act of giving. It is a leap of action, not merely a leap of faith that sustains us. Gifts of our heart and gifts of our time are the beating heart of our spiritual home. Dues only cover a third of our budget. Our celebrations, our campus—these are sustained by more than 300 acts of generosity each year. This year while the gates of repentance are open, we will be raising $425,000. During this sacred time, please choose to invest in our spiritual home.

Thank you so much for considering a donation of any size. We know that generosity can take many forms. While our Open The Gates campaign counts monetary gifts only, please reach out if you would like to donate something equally precious — your time!

A note on tipping:
The option to tip the platform is totally voluntary. This new platform will help us save on admin costs and ensure that we get the most out of every gift. How to opt out: by the processing fee click "Change" and uncheck the box that says "I want to cover fees." You'll also see a heart with a message about GiveButter tipping, click the arrows next to the optional tip to change it. You can lower it all the way down to $0. Not comfortable donating on GiveButter or want to make a gift some other way? E-mail Diana Fenves at dianaf@bethmeyer.org — she can record your pledge and add it to the campaign total.
