50 Mile March 2026

In 2026, I’m taking on the 50 Mile March here in Omaha for one simple reason: I know how heavy the fight can get after the uniform comes off. I’m a Marine veteran, and I’ve seen firsthand the mental struggles many active-duty service members and veterans carry, often quietly. When I got out, the hardest part wasn’t just the transition itself. It was the feeling of being alone and isolated in the “real world,” like the team I used to rely on was suddenly gone. Over the years, I’ve tried to give back in different ways, supporting groups like Wounded Warrior, showing up for people through community events and gatherings, and doing what I can to make sure no one feels like they’re fighting by themselves. When I heard about the 50 Mile March and its mission, it was a no-brainer. This organization is doing real work, connecting people to support, resources, and critical services that can literally save lives. That’s why I’m marching.
