Our Mission: The 50 Mile March Foundation empowers Veterans facing mental health challenges and homelessness by fostering a community of hope and relentless support.

Who We Support: Since our inception in 2020, the 50 Mile March Foundation has raised over $1.5 million dollars for our mission and provided nearly $500,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations that directly help our Veterans. Honoring our history, each year the March donates 10% of walker proceeds to our grant-making program. The remaining funds are invested in our future - construction of the Community of Hope - a tiny home village and community campus to support Veterans facing homelessness and mental health challenges.

WHAT IS THE 50 MILE MARCH?

The 50 Mile March is a 50 mile ruck march from the steps of the Nebraska State Capitol to Omaha, Nebraska to raise awareness and funds to support our community's Veterans. Participants train, fundraise, and build community in preparation of 22 hours and over 120,000 steps each August. This year's event will be held August 23-24, 2025. Over 200 walkers, nearly 100 volunteers, and even more supporters help us execute this exciting community event.

This year's mission, our SIXTH march, is aptly named Operation Home Base... join us in taking steps towards making the Community of Hope campus possible.
