Support the grieving by sponsoring a Grief and/ or Artist Residency

This is at the root of Únashay’s work. It's about bringing presence to the isolated, and insisting that no one should be unecessarily isolated while grieving. If you are a wealth holder, consider a (tax-exempt) residency sponsorship to bring under-resourced individuals and groups into the rest, connection and community care they need.

Residencies will:
* Offer space to slow down, be with the land, create, and in one’s solitude.
* Provide connected presence and land-based care by qualified grief-aware Companions, Artists, Cooks, Movers, Body Workers and more, according to one's needs.
* Provide ongoing care, community and resources (local and online).

Offering a fully resourced residency stay (with ongoing support) costs anywhere from $2500 to $5000. This cost varies depending on how many are staying with us, the length of stay, and needs of the guests. An example of what residencies might include:: nourishing home-made meals, daily 1-on-1 grief support from a qualified grief therapist/ elder/ companion, a (chosen) 'Companion team' according to each person or group's needs/ preferences, that could be anything from massage therapists to artists (of all kinds), weavers, writers, movers to assist one in developing a creative piece, daily private pranayama (breath practice) and/ or yoga, a soak and massage at nearby Ojo Caliente hot mineral springs, and connection to broader community through our Noria grief cafés, and the choice to share/ be withnessed in community, to share about your experience and/ or your creative piece (whether as a memorial, performance, public reading, and more).
