Skype a Scientist has hosted 3 Climate Change Crafting Nights this year in Philadelphia. These events have been empowering, wholesome, and have built community in a really hard time to be a person with a conscience.

We are looking for event sponsors to help us continue these events, and importantly, to enable us to offer the event series for free to participants.

Here's what we've learned running events in Philly in general, and especially running the past 3 activism art nights:

Way more people RSVP when the event is free, especially for weeknight activities
It's very important that we host these events in spaces where there are big tables where people sit together, so people feel like we're really in this together, and not isolated at tables spread all over the place.
It's important that we're able to control the volume of the music, so people who are connecting can hear each other!
For a subset of our audience, it's really important that the option to *not* drink is available, so hosting at a bar is exclusive to some folks who would otherwise attend.
Paying targeted Philly event "influencers" really helps get people to come out and reach new audiences

Here's what we can offer to sponsors at each tier:

Series Sponsor ($2250) You will be the sole sponsor for this entire 3-event series. A logo of your choice will be on the event page and poster for all events, under the words "Thank you to our sponsor". You will also get a specific shout out on a bluesky post and instagram story (@SarahMackAttack.bsky.social, 50.8k followers, @SarahMackAttack, 20.2k followers)* once for each event in the series.
Champion ($750): You will be the sole sponsor for one event in this series. A logo of your choice will be on the event page and poster under the words "Thank you to our sponsor". You will also get a specific shout out on a bluesky post and instagram story (@SarahMackAttack.bsky.social, 50.8k followers, @SarahMackAttack, 20.2k followers)*.
Booster ($500): You will sponsor this event with other sponsors. If you are the sole "Booster" for a month, your logo/name will be listed larger on the event poster than other supporters for this month's event. You will get your choice of shout out on either bluesky or instagram on Sarah's accounts (@SarahMackAttack.bsky.social, 50.8k followers, @SarahMackAttack, 20.2k followers)*.
Supporter ($250): You will sponsor an event with other sponsors. Your name or logo will be listed on the poster under the words "Thank you to our sponsors" along with other sponsors.
Friend ($100): We will list your name or logo on the online event page for this event.

We will be playing around with the name and branding over the next few events, but the heart of the event will stay the same: Gathering people to make art that communicates important messages about climate change and biodiversity.

If we raise over $2250, we'll be able to do more than 3 events!

*AI companies, weapons manufacturers, and fossil fuel companies are excluded from recognition on posters, event pages, and social media.
