Neurological disorders, led by Parkinson's Disease, have become the leading cause of disability worldwide. Over the last 25 years, the number of people with Parkinson's has doubled to over 10 million sufferers now. There's currently no prevention, cure, or way to predict who it will strike next. It's not just for "Old Men" anymore!

Parkinson's Disease is a global concern affecting millions worldwide. Since 2016, REBOPS has been breaking the stigma around Parkinson's, making it everyone's concern. We support those living with Parkinson's, their caregivers, and those who may not realize how close they are to this condition.

(#1) Do Something; This is the FUN way to FUNdraise, give your time/talents and Become an “AVATAR of a FiGHTER”!

How to become an Avatar;
Imagine becoming an 'Avatar of a Fighter,' like in the movie 'Avatar.' ... You can raise funds by doing almost anything – from walking or running to cooking or writing – on behalf of someone with Parkinson's... who might Not be able, at all, to do what You can easily do.

Examples include walking for those who can't, cooking/baking/grilling & donating the foods to the Hungry on behalf of those with Parkinson's who've lost their sense of taste or smell (an early symptom that affects over 90% of those with the disease), or writing for those with shaky hands. You can even use your activity tracker to remind yourself to stand up more frequently.

There are many every-day activities that someone with Parkonsin’s can no longer do. As an “AVATAR of a FiGHTER” you can get sponsored by a donor, either through your efforts or with our help, just to do something you like to do, that someone with Parkinson’s can no longer do themselves.

These fighters, like you, were once living normal lives, trying to do the right thing, and looking forward to a future without the burden of Parkinson's. They didn't ask for this fight, but together, we can provide them with the support They NEED!
