Welcome (Officially) Yaxel Lendeborg!

After dominating the NBA Combine, Yaxel Lendeborg- the #1 ranked player in the college basketball transfer portal- has decided to forgo the NBA Draft and use his final year of college eligibility to join the Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team! He rounds out a top transfer portal class that includes Elliot Cadeau, Morez Johnson Jr. and Aday Mara. Yax joins us from UAB where he averaged 17.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists last year.

In addition, the Men's Basketball team retains Nimari Burnett, Will Tschetter, Roddy Gayle, and LJ Cason. Rounding out the team is five-star freshman Trey McKenney, four-stars Oscar Goodman and Winters Grady, and three-star Patrick Liburd.

The “March with May” fundraising campaign was launched last year to show support for Coach May when he first arrived—and now it’s time to reload for Year 2.
