In 2006, AAP’s Leadership Track - fondly known as Course D - evolved into what we now know as the Program for Academic Leadership (PAL). For 20 years, PAL has been more than a leadership program - it has transformed careers, shaped departments, and strengthened the future of physiatry. As we mark this milestone at Physiatry ’26 in Puerto Rico, we invite you to join a special tribute campaign to honor the mentors, faculty, and peers who left a lasting imprint on your life and leadership journey.

💙 Your Tribute Means Something - How it Works

1️⃣ Make a Tribute Donation to the Physiatry Foundation in honor of a PAL mentor, faculty member, or fellow PAL classmate who made a difference in your journey. Or, just show your support for the program with a general message!

Suggested Minimum Tribute Contribution:
• $25 – In-training physiatrists or non-physicians
• $150 – Faculty, physicians, or other supporters

Processing fees & platform “tips” are optional, but appreciated to help reduce costs and maximize impact.

2️⃣ Share Your Tribute Message
You may include:
• A name, class, or general message
• A short note of graditude or memory
• A photo, GIF, or quote (optional)

3️⃣ Your Tribute Will Be Celebrated!

On the PAL 20th Anniversary Tribute Screen at Physiatry ’26 (Puerto Rico)

In a rotating slideshow during the PAL meeting & celebration
In special anniversary communications and the Foundation newsletter
