For 43 years, Paul Boden has been part of frontline organizing led by poor and unhoused people — from Hospitality House, to the Coalition on Homelessness, to helping launch Western Regional Advocacy Project (WRAP) 21 years ago.

As of July 1, 2026, Paul has stepped down as Executive Director of WRAP and returned to his roots as a volunteer in the organization.

This transition comes at a moment of escalating attacks on poor and unhoused communities. This is not a moment for WRAP to slow down; it is a moment to make sure the organization has the resources to stay steady, keep organizing, and continue building power.

The 'Paul Ain’t So Bad Legacy Fund' was created to honor Paul’s decades of leadership while helping resource WRAP’s next chapter. Gifts to this fund will help stabilize the transition and support the organizing and infrastructure needed to carry the work forward.
