Since our inception is 2005, Nashville Cat Rescue has kept a laser-like focus on rescuing cats and kittens from high-kill shelters and from off the streets, getting them fully vetted and adopted them into loving homes.

We are coming up on 20 years of rescue work and over 20,000 feline lives saved. What started with just one adoption center and four foster homes has grown to a network of more than 50 foster homes, 100 volunteers, a full-time executive director, and 6 adoption centers.

Now, we are excited to announce our next venture - our very own vet clinic, run by us and open to the Donelson community!

Our goal is to purchase, renovate, and operate Donelson Veterinary Clinic not only for our rescue, but for the community at large. We recognize the need for accessible animal care amid nation-wide veterinary shortages that have left many companion animals without access to needed medical treatment. We strive to achieve the following:

Continue rescuing cats and kittens and getting them fully vetted prior to adoption
Provide exams, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and general exams and check-ups for cats and dogs in the Donelson and surrounding Nashville community
Offer boarding services that are safe and clean for pets when their owners need temporary care for them that ensures the well-being of the animals during their stay
Coordinate spay/neuter programs to help prevent pet overpopulation in our community

Our goal of $15,000 will allow us to pay the first month rent, salaries, and insurance of the veterinary clinic while we build up the practice over time.
