Please Give TODAY!

At PEER Academy, we see small miracles every day.

A child who once struggled to speak says their first full sentence.
A student who feared group activities joins a class project.
A smile replaces frustration.

For children with autism and developmental disabilities such as Down syndrome, communication disorders, and learning differences, a safe, nurturing, and individualized educational environment is not only helpful—it is essential. Each familiar face, every carefully planned routine, and every moment of individualized attention helps our students feel safe, learn, grow, and discover what they are capable of achieving.

Right now, we need your help more than ever to provide the consistency, care, specialized instruction, and support these children need to thrive.

The Need Has Never Been Greater

The Knoxville area desperately needs more educational options for children with autism and other special needs.

Our public schools work incredibly hard to serve a wide range of students, but the reality is that not every child can be appropriately served in a traditional school environment. Some students need smaller classrooms, more individualized instruction, greater flexibility, specialized behavioral and communication supports, and an environment intentionally designed around the way they learn.

That is where PEER Academy fills a critical gap in our community.

PEER provides an alternative for students whose needs may be difficult to meet within a traditional school setting, while also helping relieve some of the challenges facing already-stretched public school systems. We are able to focus our resources, expertise, and attention on a population of students who deserve an education designed to help them succeed.

Every day, more families reach out to PEER seeking the individualized education, enrichment, support, and life-skills training we provide. For many of these families, PEER represents something they have struggled to find elsewhere: hope that their child can be understood, supported, challenged, and successful at school.

But we cannot meet this growing need alone.

The cost of providing this level of individualized education and specialized support is significant. Tuition alone cannot cover the true cost of the dedicated staff, small learning environments, specialized resources, and individualized programming that make PEER possible.

Without dedicated community and individual supporters, our ability to expand our programs, grow our team of specialized educators, provide tuition assistance, and ultimately serve more children who need us is at risk.

When YOU Give, You Help Make Education Possible for Every Child

When you give to PEER Academy, you're not simply making a donation—you are helping create an educational future for children who can thrive when they are given the right environment and support.

Your donation directly helps us:

Expand our programs so we can welcome more students waiting for a place where they can succeed.
Add specialized staff who bring expertise, compassion, consistency, and stability to our classrooms.
Provide essential tuition assistance so a family's financial circumstances do not prevent a child from accessing the education they need.
Build and grow PEER Academy into the resource Knoxville and East Tennessee so desperately need.

Please Help Us Grow

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn. Every child deserves to be understood. And every child deserves an educational environment where their differences are supported and their strengths are celebrated.

PEER Academy is helping make that possible—but we need our community behind us.

PEER Academy is more than a school. It is a community of hope, progress, belonging, and possibility.

For our students, every moment matters. With your support and generosity, those moments become opportunities for growth, independence, connection, and a brighter future.

Please Give TODAY.

Help us grow. Help us serve more children. Help us make education possible for ALL.
