The Acevedo Foundation is dedicated to elevating, educating, and empowering the next generation of Latino leaders. At the very core of this commitment is the ability to reach the Latine community with the information they need, but just as importantly, it is the ability to reach them with stories that reflect their experiences from an authentic and accurate point of view. As the saying goes, you can’t be what you can’t see. 

In furtherance of one of these core tenants of the Acevedo mission, we have partnered with Luz Media, which challenges false and inaccurate media narratives through high-quality digital content. They also build community through tangible IRL and digital experiences in their Luz Digital Community. Latine-owned independent media is critical to the success of the Latine community and the U.S. economy, and we’re proud to be able to help build that necessary infrastructure.
