Drama Club performances are transformative and unforgettable experiences for everyone in attendance.

With improv as their guide, participants' infinitely creative and hilarious ideas come to life, received by a room full of laughter. Our performances are safe spaces that give young people room to have fun despite the circumstances of incarceration, utilizing the science of play to transform the culture and climate of institutions in which we work.

When we collaborated with SEED Impact to produce our Annual Report, we measured the positive effect of performance on Drama Club participants by assessing demonstrable gains in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). According to the Aspen Institute, young people with strong SEL are more likely to foster positive relationships, achieve advanced academic and professional success, and attain better mental health.
