“Talent is universal, but access is not.”
This truth guides the work of Daya Harris, Founder & CEO of Power Uprising, a global social enterprise delivering STEAM and entrepreneurship education to marginalized youth across the U.S. and Ghana.

For 12+ years, Daya has shaped strategy, storytelling, and community-centered initiatives across top media and culture-building organizations, including BET, AT&T, Spotify, Sundial Brands, Black Girls Rock!, Know Your Rights Camp NYC, Champions of Change, and My Brother’s Keeper under the Obama Administration.

These experiences revealed a global inequity: brilliance is everywhere, but opportunity is not.

Power Uprising exists to bridge that gap.

As a marketing professor and 2024 SNHU Outstanding Educator Award recipient, Daya designs education that activates brilliance, cultivates confidence, and empowers youth to see themselves as creators, not just consumers of change.
