Enjoy an evening of mahjong in Forsyth Park while supporting and learning more about Park Place Outreach. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. and play begins at 6:00 p.m. Many thanks to our generous sponsor, Collins Quarter at Forsyth, for providing the picturesque venue and complimentary light bites. Mahjong sets will be provided at each table, but please bring your own National Mah Jongg League card if you have one. (There have been issues with the delivery of 2025 cards, so if you have that version, please bring it as well as a 2024 card (if you have one). If you do not have a 2025 card, please bring a 2024 card if you have one. We will plan to have extra 2024 cards on hand in case people forget or do not have them, but we can't guarantee we will have enough.)

Park Place Outreach provides emergency shelter and long-term services to homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth in our area. In addition to emergency housing, it offers after-school programming, counseling and mentoring services, and outreach to unhoused youth. Park Place also operates a Transitional Living Program, a residential program that provides a stable and safe living environment for homeless, runaway, and at-risk young men ages 16 to 21 and focuses on equipping them with tools for sustained independence and self-sufficiency.
