Leaders Are Readers: Literacy and Book Access

Through our Leaders Are Readers program, we will host book giveaways and author read-aloud experiences that spark a love of reading and storytelling among children. Youth will receive culturally relevant books to build home libraries, while author read-alouds model the joy, confidence, and power of literacy. Access to books and positive reading experiences lays the foundation for lifelong learning and leadership.

Youth Education and Leadership Development

Funds will support writing workshops and our Annual Youth Leadership Summit, where young people develop communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. These programs empower youth to find their voices, tell their stories, and step into roles as community leaders and difference makers.
