In honor of Barron's 2nd birthday, we are raising donations for Project Sweet Peas - Pittsburgh!

Barron’s fight for life began before he was even born. While still in utero, a car accident caused a premature rupture of membranes (PPROM). As a result, Barron entered the world far too soon and faced struggles no baby should have to endure. In the NICU, he fought to simply breathe, eat, and keep his tiny body warm. Every day was filled with fear, uncertainty, and moments where his family didn’t know what the future would hold.

Through surgeries and countless challenges, Barron showed what true strength looks like. Today, at two years old, he is thriving, happy, and healthy—a living reminder of resilience and miracles.

During his NICU journey, Project Sweet Peas stood beside Barron and his mom. They brought comfort, encouragement, and hope at a time when their world felt overwhelming. Their support helped them keep going when the trauma felt too heavy to bear.
