This year, PSU turns 30. That’s three decades of students rising up, taking risks, and organizing for a better future in the face of injustice.

But this milestone comes during a time of deep crisis. Public education is under attack, from defunding threats and school closures to rising inequality across our city. This year, we mark our historic anniversary with a rallying cry.

PSU was born because young people knew no one else was going to fight for their futures—unless they did it themselves. And that fight is far from over. Over the past 30 years, our members have changed policies, challenged broken systems, and built a movement that has shaped the lives of thousands of students.

Now, in a moment of collapse and possibility, we’re pushing toward the next horizon.

Big leaps. Bigger vision. Youth leadership that meets the moment—and moves past it.

Let’s celebrate what we’ve done.
