KAŌS is an interdisciplinary arts collective creating immersive, mixed media performances that redefine how audiences interact with art. By blending movement with visual art, sound, and technology, we make multisensory experiences that are catalysts for self reflection and emotional upheaval. Centering underrepresented voices and authentic collaboration, KAŌS creates space for artistic innovation, cultural dialogue, and collective experience.

As a collective of queer and trans artists who hold personal and ancestral history of colonization and displacement, KAŌS facilitates the processing and celebration of our multiplicities and complex identities through creation and performance. In an industry and sociopolitical climate that encourages and at times demands and forces artists to show up as “blank canvases,” we create art that is reflective of our diverse cultural backgrounds in collaboration with one another, the land, and a global conscience. KAŌS aims to carve out and forge a space in which artists feel nurtured and empowered enough to unearth and heal collectively.
