Why Your Support Matters

At P.S. 165, the PTA closet is a critical space where we store everything needed to support our school community — from event supplies to fundraising materials. However, the space has become overcrowded and disorganized, making it difficult to function efficiently.

Why This Project is So Important

We’re not the only ones using this space. The closet is shared with the YMCA and YANY afterschool programs that serve our children daily. Plus, since it’s adjacent to the school cafeteria, maintaining cleanliness and safety is a top priority.

A cluttered, overcrowded space can lead to:
✅ Difficulty accessing supplies when we need them.
✅ Safety hazards in a high-traffic area.
✅ Risk of compromising sanitation standards near food service.

Our Goal: $900 to Make It Happen!

We’re asking for your support to raise $900 to organize and revamp the PTA closet. Your contribution will help us:

Purchase shelving and storage bins to maximize space.
Label and categorize items for easy access.
Create a safer, more efficient environment for everyone who uses the space.
