Connecting Community”(CC) is a Nonprofit organization that creates opportunities to connect individuals and service providers, increasing the distribution of information about resources within communities with the least access.

We host weekly recreational spaces, soccer clinics in Cary and Apex, and inclusive movement classes with information in Durham in a monthly base. In 2025, we hosted 23 soccer clinics. Our last newsletter with a summary (only 2 minutes to read) is here: https://online.fliphtml5.com/zyodj/uiuk/

This campaign aims to continue these monthly community events during 2026. The goal is to host 40 community events. Please see the calendar of the following events at the table below. You are always welcome to participate and see on-site what our work looks like.

Description of each program

SOCCER CLINIC AND INFO Kids and youth from 7-14 years old will do soccer and crafts, and their families receive information about services available in education, health, etc Food made by an entrepreneur at the community is served. More than 60 people are expected.

Movement and Inclusion class with information (previously called Ciclodanza). This is a unique and inclusive movement program for people of all ages who have low mobility, people in wheelchairs and their caregivers, families with kids with autism, and seniors. After the 45-minute class, information about community resources is provided.

*This is a relatively new organization. 2026 is our third year of operation. 53% of our revenues comes from individual donors, small business donations. So your support is crucial to our sustainability, and your money will go towards these programs for the community.

The organization was founded and led by a woman from a minority group, and 80% of our board members belong to a BIPOC community. Please consider this information when making your decision to donate.
