We’re coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

At our upcoming fundraiser, we’re sharing the story of a student who arrived from Gaza with one goal in mind: to continue his education despite overwhelming challenges. Like many of us, he believes in the power of learning but unlike most, his journey has been shaped by instability, displacement, and uncertainty.

As students, we felt a deep responsibility to act. Not just as organizers, and not just as members of SJP, but as people who understand how life changing access to education can be. This isn’t just about helping one person, it’s about standing up for the idea that education is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

Every dollar raised at this event will go directly toward supporting this student’s educational expenses, helping him stay in school, pursue his goals, and build a future that once felt out of reach.
