We are excited to be back at McKean Community Park on September 18, to walk as a community supporting our animal rescue. McKean Community Park (8800 Main Street), offers 2 lovely wooded trails, a ½ mile or a 1-mile trail. Enjoy being outdoors, with or without your pup, while helping the animals at Because You Care! This year’s event will feature dog activities as well as activities for children, music (HAPPI 92.7), food trucks (The Waffle Miracle and Food For Thought & Sundae) and more. Enjoy being outdoors, walking the paths, and meeting and greeting other dog friends and their humans all while helping the animals at Because You Care! All leashed, well-behaved dogs are encouraged and welcomed!

Registration details:

$25 Early Registration by August 1st and receive an official BYC Paws at the Park t-shirt
$35 Registration fee - After August 1st and receive an official BYC Paws at the Park t-shirt (Day of registration, your shirt may have to be ordered.)

Raise $200 for the Paws: Sweatshirt and the Tee (Raffle Ticket sales do not count toward total)
Raise $400 for the Paws: Both items AND an Insulated TOTE (Raffle Ticket sales do not count toward total)
For every $50 raised by a registered walker, you will receive a ticket to WIN a Firepit or Kayak!

Our famous Franklin Fund Raffle Baskets:

Proceeds support severely injured or ill animals who have been abandoned and who are in need of in-depth veterinary care in order to survive. The fund has helped dozens of animals since its inception. The Franklin Fund has helped reverse these once-tragic cases, and the animals who have benefitted from the fund are now in loving homes, living healthy, happy lives.

Basket pictures, descriptions, as well as tickets, are will be available here online and at certain establishments by July 1...Keep watching for more details! Tickets are $2 each or a Value pack of 14 tickets for $20! Baskets are all valued at $120+
