The *SPECIAL* UFL winners

Well, it's official. The winners have been randomly drawn:

A-0514 won Invictus!

A-0436 won the patch from the 1st!

I can honestly say that I am happy for the winners, but I am incredibly jealous. I will notify all the winners via email; if you donated more than $100, feel free to email me your t-shirt size (scott@ukrainefrontline.org)!

This was (still is) an emotional week for us at UFL. We saw an incredible outpouring of support following a spineless betrayal by the President of the USA.

You, our supporters, not only made this raffle a huge success, but completely funded Komari's request and are still crushing the Rage campaign!

Robin will definitely be struggling with all the gear she will be taking over next month. 😆

Lastly, I will always say this: thank you. Ukraine is fighting, suffering, and dying to survive and in so doing are protecting all of us in the West. Your support matters, both financially and politically.

Thank you from all of us at UFL.

Some Notes from the Artist:

"Invictus" holds a very special place in my heart. I am a former soldier myself and was wounded during my service. Yet nothing I have experienced comes close to what the men and women of Ukraine’s armed forces have endured for the past three years.

The bullet casings from which I cast Invictus, as well as several other sculptures, were given to me by four soldiers. They were fired in the regions of Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Toretsk, and Kherson. Two of these brave soldiers are no longer alive. A third will never again be able to use his hands for painting—the art he so deeply loved.

The last, a Marine Corps First Lieutenant, was gravely wounded during the Kherson campaign. He was brought to Germany, underwent surgery, and recovered. Upon his return to Ukraine, he did everything in his power to rejoin his comrades. To this day, he continues to defend his homeland and his family with unwavering courage.

Inspired by his journey—and by many other Ukrainian veterans who, despite severe injuries, return to service or represent their country in the Invictus Games—I created this sculpture.

The spirit of Ukraine’s defenders is unbreakable!

Please join us in supporting them!
