Story

Join Phi Delta Theta (Lou Gehrig's Fraternity!), the Live Like Lou Foundation, and the Permobil Foundation in Philadelphia on Friday, September 8, for the Phillies games against the Miami Marlins, as we raise awareness for ALS.

Pre-Game Presentations & Game:

Representatives from Phi Delta Theta, the Live Like Lou Foundation, and Permobil Foundation will be on the field before the game for a special presentation to an ALS family, so we encourage attendees to arrive early. The game begins at 7:05 p.m.

A ticket block has been reserved in Sections 142 and 143, and tickets cost $37. Tickets in this block are sold at face value. Gates to the ballpark open ninety minutes before the game time. This event is open to the public, so please invite your friends and family!

All tickets for our block must be pre-purchased through this site and will not be sold at the gate/event. The game ticket(s) will be sent to you online prior to the event and will be accessible in the MLB Ballpark app. All questions should be sent to Laura Peterson at [email protected].

To date, the Fraternity has initiated nearly 290,000 men into the society whose founding principles are Friendship, Sound Learning, and Rectitude. Phi Delta Theta’s vision is to be recognized as the premier fraternal leadership development society in North America. Lou Gehrig was a member of Phi Delta Theta.

About the Live Like Lou Foundation

The Live Like Lou Foundation was established in 2017 as a national nonprofit with a vision to leave ALS better than we found it. Named in honor of MLB Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig, a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Live Like Lou supports ALS families, funds emerging researchers seeking meaningful treatments and cures for ALS, and helps generate awareness of Lou Gehrig’s disease. In the face of his ALS diagnosis, Lou Gehrig continued to live his life with courage, determination, and gratitude... this is what we mean when we say Live Like Lou. In Lou’s memory, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity members have served more than 300 ALS families through Live Like Lou.

About the Permobil Foundation

The Permobil Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Permobil Inc., the world leader in power and manual mobility devices that enrich the lives of people living with disabilities.
