Pre-K Days at 4Roots Farm

Presented by Nemours Children's Health

Give your little one the chance to learn, play, and experience adventures in agriculture with 4Roots Pre-K Days, a monthly program designed just for preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) and their caregivers!

In partnership with Nemours Children's Health, this series introduces children and families to agricultural and nutrition concepts through sensory-rich, play-based experiences that spark curiosity about food, farming, and the environment.

Each Session Features

📖 Storytime: A thoughtfully chosen picture book connected to the month’s theme

🥕 Snack: A wholesome, theme-inspired treat

🎨 Activity: A guided craft or hands-on activity that encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and discovery

By blending reading, food, and nature-based play, children and caregivers can enjoy meaningful time together while building early learning skills.

This Month’s Theme: Pumpkins 🎃

Discover the magic of pumpkins from seed to harvest! Our October Pre-K Day will celebrate all things pumpkins, featuring the fall favorite Too Many Pumpkins by Linda White, a pumpkin-themed snack, and a make-and-take craft exploring how pumpkins grow.
