The mirror ball is back—and this year, the energy will be even bigger!

United Way of the Greater Dayton Area is bringing the 2nd Annual Preble County Dancing with the Stars to Henny Penny Owners Hall on Saturday, February 27, 2027!

Six familiar faces from across Preble County will trade their everyday roles for dancing shoes as they team up with professional choreographers, learn original routines, and take the stage in front of a live audience. Whether the performances are elegant, emotional, hilarious, or completely unexpected, this is one night you will not want to miss!

Last year’s inaugural event proved that a fun night can create a serious impact. Every dollar raised remained right here in Preble County, with the majority of the proceeds helping fund the Preble County Success Program. After the program lost a crucial grant, it faced a significant funding gap that threatened its ability to continue serving local students and families. United Way stepped in to help fill that gap—because when an essential community program needs support, that is what it means to Live United.

This year, our stars will once again compete for votes, bragging rights, and now three trophies:

Judge’s Choice: Selected by our panel of judges based on technique, choreography, creativity, and overall performance.
People’s Choice: Awarded to the star who raises the most money through donations. Every $1 donated equals one vote, and every vote supports United Way’s work in Preble County.
Crowd Favorite: A brand-new award for the routine that brings the room to life! This trophy goes to the performance that gets the audience on its feet, cheering, dancing, and fully caught up in the moment.

Your ticket includes a buffet-style dinner and an entire evening of entertainment, community spirit, and friendly competition. Come ready to cheer loudly, vote generously, and help us make an even greater impact in year two!
