It's about HUNGER! Filling Plates & Filling Hearts is not only our mission but our passion for the past 22 years. Our compassionate volunteers are the energy and heart that run this community ministry that provides love, hope and comfort to Baldwin County families in crisis through emergency food, regional disaster relief and coordination with supportive program. Established in 2003, Prodisee Pantry has distributed over 20 Million pounds of food to Baldwin County families and individuals who have visited for food and hope over 230,000 times.

It’s about HUNGER! In 2023, our volunteers helped 10,835 Baldwin County families facing tough times with food, warm smiles, encouragement and connections to other resources. That’s 24 thousand individuals who relied on Prodisee Pantry, the largest emergency food pantry in Baldwin County, for food. Each shopping cart is filled with fresh local fruits and vegetables, frozen meats, a gallon of milk, eggs, dairy and a variety of staple grocery items. Filling plates with healthy food, some 660 tons annually! The Pantry is an integral part of the social service safety net in Baldwin County. Providing food to single moms, unemployed and under-employed households, families in transition, homeless, and grandparents raising grandchildren is critical. We offer our services each Tuesday from 9 to 11:30 am at our Spanish Fort facility, the second Saturday of each month from 9 to 11am at the Vaughn Elementary School in Stockton and by appointment on other days.

But, we are so much more than a box of groceries. Our volunteers listen, encourage and connect families with additional information. In a collaborative effort; a growing onsite supportive program area is hosted by Prodisee Pantry, where families can receive various other types of assistance from dozens of programs. They can access everything from free medical and dental screenings to legal aid to local businesses who are hiring. Filling hearts with hope for so many!

Prodisee Pantry's volunteers have nurtured a simple food program into one of the largest emergency food pantry in a 24-county area by placing healthy food into the hands of the hungry. Prodisee Pantry's dual function as a weekly emergency food program and large-scale regional disaster relief operation are counted upon by communities in Baldwin County.

Bringing hope by feeding physical, emotional and spiritual hunger is what pantry volunteers do each week. Our mission is simply based on the scripture, “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:35
