The Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center educates and inspires our community to rethink how solar developments and land stewards can work together for the betterment of our society. Based at Jack’s Solar Garden in Boulder County, Colorado, our organization has toured 8,000 people within the 1.2 MW solar array to showcase how vegetables, berries, grasslands, farm labor, livestock, and ecosystem services can all thrive in the shade of solar panels. As we all know, Colorado is not a light limited State, we're water limited. That makes the shade of solar panels all the more valuable now, and vastly more so in the future.

The Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center hosts community members, farmers, ranchers, students, solar developers, policymakers, and enthusiasts for on-site tours in the most publicly accessible solar array in the country. We believe that solar arrays built with agricultural activities in mind can keep land functional and safeguard agricultural livelihoods in rural communities.

A timeless theory of change mantra states that seeing is believing. We hope your visit to Jack’s Solar Garden will inspire you to think differently about how rural communities can benefit even more from our necessary solar revolution!
