From Thursday, March 13th, to Sunday, March 16th, 40 high school students will serve on mission in Morristown, TN. Throughout the trip, students will engage in meaningful service projects, including house projects for church congregants, Vacation Bible School (VBS) for families in local apartment complexes, and community service initiatives benefiting Morristown residents.

This trip will also provide a unique opportunity for students to explore cross-cultural ministry, interact with diverse communities, and even practice Spanish while serving. Students will be hosted by Morristown Church families, fostering deeper connections within the local faith community.

Some of our projects include:

A "Celebration Day" for Hope and Thrive Academy students which is a program of Holston Home for Children, provides post-secondary educational opportunities to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
A Party/Celebration time for the children at Kingswood Home for Children which is a private, residential children's home for ages 5-18. Kingswood provides a safe, Christian home for children who need it most. Children who have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or displaced can come to Kingswood and find shelter and safety in their time of need.
A VBS Weekend for the Immigrant and Hispanic Community at a local Apartment Complex, Los Cerritos.
We have also been asked to repair TWO DECKS for our brothers and sisters in Morristown, TN.
Kitchen counter top and cabinetry that is in major need of repair for our church members in Morristown at the Church Community for GOD.

This experience promises to be a powerful time of service, growth, and faith in action as students share God's love in practical ways.
