Join the Fish for a Future Scholarship Challenge by creating a fundraising team and inviting your friends, family, coworkers, church, or business to help sponsor survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence as they build new careers through the Queens Arise Career Scholarship Program.

Our Goal

Raise $50,000 to sponsor five survivors on their journey toward meaningful employment and lasting independence.

Each survivor receives career education through Penn Foster along with personalized Career Success Services that provide the guidance, resources, and support needed to complete training and successfully transition into the workforce.

YOUR IMPACT

It costs approximately $10,000 to sponsor one survivor through the Queens Arise Career Scholarship Program.

Career Education: $2,500 per Survivor

Provides Penn Foster career education, giving each survivor access to accredited career training in healthcare, skilled trades, business, technology, and other high-demand career fields.

Career Success Services: $7,500 per Survivor

Provides the personalized support that helps survivors complete their education and successfully launch their careers, including:

Computer equipment
Student recruitment and onboarding
Penn Foster coordination
Student progress tracking and accountability
Resume development
LinkedIn profile optimization
Interview preparation
Career readiness coaching
Job search support
Graduation planning and transition to employment

Together, Career Education and Career Success Services provide survivors with the education, resources, and support they need to achieve meaningful employment and lasting independence.

Sponsorships:

$2,500 provides one survivor’s Penn Foster career education.
$7,500 provides one survivor’s Career Success Services.
$10,000 sponsors one survivor’s complete journey through the Queens Arise Career Scholarship Program.
$50,000 sponsors an entire cohort of five survivors.
