2025 is The Westfield Foundation’s 50th anniversary and we are inspired by how far we’ve come and energized by the road ahead. To ensure the Foundation remains strong for the next 50 years, we have undertaken the work of developing a strategic vision to address the evolving needs of our neighbors while staying true to the core mission.

At the heart of this work is you. Your support makes our mission possible, creating opportunities that uplift lives and strengthen our community. In 2024, thanks to your generosity, The Westfield Foundation’s quarterly grants supported 28 local organizations with over $410,000 to help make their missions possible, including:

Students 2 Science: Funding will expand access to STEM education for students in under-resourced districts like Rahway and Plainfield, with in-lab experiences and interactive virtual programming. This collaboration emphasizes the Foundation’s commitment to education and empowering the next generation.

YWCA Union County: Through a multi-year $250,000 Bogaert Grant, we are helping rebuild their headquarters. This vital facility will soon reopen as a safe haven, providing essential services such as counseling, workforce development, and emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence.
Jewish Family Service of Central NJ: Celebrating 25 years of partnership, we provided $20,000 to fund a multi-passenger vehicle, ensuring elderly residents—including those with Alzheimer’s and dementia—can access critical medical and social services. Together, we’re enhancing mobility and dignity for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

In 2024, we awarded over $1 million in quarterly grants, Bogaert grants, and scholarships within our community! Your continued partnership is essential to expanding our impact.
