Ready to Get Wild?

Come help us Fund The Wild Farm's Food and Foraging Forest with a unique farm tour and dinner event on Friday, November 14th. Our flowers will be in Full Bloom and we are so excited to host you!

From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., tour the farm on the incredible newly mulched trails (thanks to Love, Tito’s) and explore all of our exciting ongoing projects. As the sun sets, sip on the mock/cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks that have been contributed by some of our favorite local businesses as you peruse the farm and all its magic.

At 7:00 p.m., we will sit down to a family-style feast featuring dishes created just for us by wonderful local chefs using our locally grown or foraged ingredients.

Enjoy music by DJ Nandez until the gates close at 10:00 p.m.

Street parking is available but we highly recommend rideshares. Wear whatever attire makes you feel wild and free, but sensible shoes are recommended for our uneven terrain.

What is a Food and Foraging Forest? We have envisioned a space where we and our animal friends can wander freely, nourishing our bodies with the gifts the earth - with a little help - provides to us. On the rewilded portion of our farm, we have been working to remove harmful invasives and plant edible, native species that benefit so many species (including humans)! We will be planting pecans, persimmons, elderberries, mulberries, deberries, Mexican plums, agarita, prickly pears, passionflowers, pawpaws and so much more! Not only will 100% of your ticket price go to paying for native and naturalized, edible trees, shrubs, and perennials, we will have trees “available” for you to purchase for the farm that you can dedicate to a loved one.

The Wild Farm SATX is a regenerative farm project located near downtown San Antonio. We empower women in ethical urban agriculture while healing our urban plot (and our hearts) at the same time. We nurture fresh produce, herbs and cut flowers into being and provide training and economic opportunities to women in a supportive community. Our work on the land is centered around the principle of being of service to the land, the source of sustenance for our species and so many others, and leaving this lovely space happier and healthier than we found her.
