Everyone has a talent.

Some people gravitate towards science, literature, or music. Others are drawn to the stage. We're all born with something we love to do, that's what makes us who we are. There's power in finding your purpose and celebrating your talent. But some talent isn't clear until it has a spotlight.

We are not just a theatre company; we are a movement dedicated to redefining the landscape of the performing arts and challenging the perceptions of what disability is and can be.

EPIC Players is a non-profit theatre company that opens the stage to all types of artists and seeks to shine a light on neurodiverse talent. We believe our differences are our strengths. And that a more open stage connects artists and audiences to more representation, more inspiration, and more opportunities.

We aspire to support more Neurodivergent and Disabled players than ever before! Offering free programming AND paid opportunities in the arts to ALL company members! We need to raise $3,500 per player annually in Los Angeles to continue to offer our no-cost critical programs and paid performance opportunities to our community. And as we grow, we want to do even MORE.

Over the last year, EPIC has received a large amount of exposure. We were featured in not one but three news features around the city, as well as multiple radio and paper interviews. Our expansion to LA has provided an even broader platform to challenge social stigmas. EPIC LA has continued to expand and now serves 26 artists! Meaning, EPIC Players now serves 174 members nationally! EPIC LA’s 2024 programming ended with an incredible ensemble performance “Live at the Bourbon Room”, a mixed performance cabaret on June 18th, 2024, entertaining 135 audience members. Recently, it was announced two of our members will be in feature films shown around the country. EPIC LA will also be performing our first Cabaret at Catalina Jazz Club this Fall.

Our goal for 2025 is to double the number of artists served through your support! We aim to increase our programming from 1 class to 2 a week, where artists will have an opportunity to register for the following programs: Filmmaking Page to Screen Class, Ensemble Building Class with Professional Workshops, and Scene Study Class. One of our main objectives for 2025 is to organize and perform our first full-length mainstage play - making our EPIC LA Debut.

We are asking for YOUR HELP to raise $25,000! From 12/03—Giving Tuesday—to 12/31, we are calling on all Players, Family, Friends, and Fans to join our Giving Tuesday efforts to ensure our programs stay completely free and our opportunities get even bigger and better.
