Help the Millvale Community Development Corporation (MCDC) build the Rainbow Raccoon Park - a playground for our children and families! For the past three years, volunteers have busily been turning a junkyard into a playground through tedious reclamation and clean up work. The goal? To create a quarter acre playground for fun, dreaming, music, playing, and meeting with friends new and old. Please help us help our families!

We have completed the clean up work, built the rain gardens, and basketball court and of course - THE RACCOON HAS ARRIVED! Our next goal is to raise $10,000 to install the safety fencing around the perimeter of the park. Once safety fencing is installed, we will start working on some really fun parts for the kids - playground equipment, swings, slides, and more! The MCDC is a non-profit organization located in the Borough of Millvale, Pennsylvania. MCDC is solely operated by volunteers dedicated to upholding the organization’s mission of active, sustainable growth. MCDC is made up of many Councils and Committees, including the Millvale Music Festival, The Gardens of Millvale, Pride Millvale, Business Association of Millvale, and more! We are also a key stakeholder in the Millvale Ecodistrict Collaborative (MEDC) and work closely with local and regional leaders to improve our community and enrich the lives of everyone living here.
